Vintage Mid-Century Alabaster & Chrome Floor Standing Ashtray (58cm)
A striking vintage 1950s/1960s Mid-Century floor-standing ashtray stand, standing at approximately 58 cm tall.
This eye-catching piece features a hand-carved alabaster/onyx lower section detailing a stylized face motif, mounted on a solid circular alabaster weighted base. The central column is accented with turned faux-onyx/celluloid ring spacers and a clear fluted glass connector. It is topped with a chrome-plated container featuring an internal drop-flap ash trap mechanism and integrated cigarette rests.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface patina, light tarnishing/pitting to the chrome lid, and minor wear to the turned accents consistent with age. Weighted base is intact and stable.
