Vintage Brass & Leather Globe Armillary Sphere Table Top Desk Ornament - Paris Style
An attractive vintage-style decorative brass and leather terrestrial globe / armillary sphere, set on an adjustable column with a tripod base.
Features an aged-effect paper map sphere encased within brass horizon and meridian rings, bearing the vintage inscription "A PARIS Chez G. Gobille a P Ache Royalle". The central column is wrapped in stitched tan leather detailing with a brass tightening screw. Stands approximately 40cm (16 inches) high. Perfect as a desk accessory, library ornament, or home interior accent piece.
In good condition with light cosmetic wear, minor surface marks to the paper globe surface, and a warm aged patina to the brasswork as pictured.
