Victorian Blue & White Teapot - Dresden Pattern, Reg No. 186085 (c. 1892)
Up for auction is a late Victorian blue and white transferware porcelain teapot featuring the classic "Dresden" pattern. Dated to around 1892 via the UK Registered Design number (Rd Nº 186085), this piece features floral band detailing, a fluted lower body, and gilded accents along the handle, spout, and rim.
Condition: Vintage condition consistent with age. Exhibits fine overall glaze crazing. The lid and strain holes inside the spout are intact.
Dimensions: Approximately 14 cm (5.5 in) tall and 21 cm (8.2 in) wide from spout to handle.
Marks: Stamped on the base with blue "DRESden Rd Nº 186085 S.S." mark and an impressed maker's mark.
