Retro Salco Lustre Ware Rainbow Trout Thermometer Ornament
Beautiful mid-century ceramic trout thermometer made by Salco.
This is a classic piece of 1950s/60s British kitsch. It features a leaping rainbow trout with a lovely pearlescent lustre ware finish that catches the light beautifully.
Brand: Salco (marked "A Salco Quality Product - Foreign" on base).
Era: 1950s / 1960s.
Design: Stylized trout on a wave base with integrated thermometer dial.
Dimensions: Approx 18cm long x 10cm tall.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The ceramic and glaze look great for their age with minor chips near head see pictures (priced accordingly)
Note: The thermometer element is untested and sold as a decorative piece.
