An attractive 8-piece collection of vintage British commemorative crown coins spanning key historic moments from the mid-20th century. This lot features coins from the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, making it a great starter set or addition for British history and coin enthusiasts.
Collection Includes:
1x 1951 "Festival of Britain" Crown: Features St. George and the Dragon. Includes original purple presentation box and paperwork certificate (King George VI reign).
4x 1965 Winston Churchill Commemorative Crowns: Issued following the death of Sir Winston Churchill.
1x 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Crown: Features the Queen on horseback to mark her coronation year.
1x 1972 Royal Silver Wedding Anniversary Crown: Issued to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
Condition & Material: Coins are in circulated/vintage condition as pictured, showing natural patina and age. All coins are struck in cupronickel. The 1951 Festival of Britain coin remains housed in its original maroon box with moderate outer shelf wear.
