Vintage Japanese Shuzan Porcelain Rotating Hors D'oeuvres Set - 8 Piece

A stunning mid-century Japanese "Sweet Meat" or relish serving set. This set features seven hand-decorated porcelain segments (one central circular bowl and six fan-shaped outer dishes) that fit perfectly into a rotating mahogany-style wooden Lazy Susan base.

The porcelain is marked with the authentic red Shuzan (秀山) seal on the base of every piece. The design features a beautiful traditional floral pattern of peonies and chrysanthemums in turquoise, coral, and burgundy tones, finished with elegant gold gilt scalloped edges.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The porcelain is free from chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some light, age-related wear to the gold gilt edging (as shown in photos), which is typical for a set of this era and adds to its authentic vintage character. The rotating wooden base turns smoothly.
