Vintage Hand-Carved Wood Crocodile – 30cm (12") Solid Wood Sculpture
A striking mid-century hand-carved crocodile figurine, originating from India. This is a solid, heavy piece crafted from a dark, dense hardwood (likely Ebony or Indian Rosewood) with a matching wooden base.
The detail is fantastic, featuring individually carved wooden teeth and a textured scale pattern. It measures exactly 30cm (12 inches) long.
Condition: Good vintage condition with a lovely aged patina. Please note that as is common with these older carvings, a few of the small wooden teeth are missing/chipped (see photos), which only adds to its authentic, rustic character.
Perfect for a bookshelf, desk, or as part of a "Global Eclectic" or "Boho" home interior.
