Vintage Figural Putto Table Lamp Base | Marble & Gilt Project Piece A/F
Beautiful vintage Neoclassical / Rococo Revival style figural table lamp base featuring a gilt putto / cherub holding grapes. Perfect for an upcycling, restoration, or electrical DIY project!
The figure sits on a gorgeous, heavily veined white and grey solid marble base. Please note that this is being sold strictly As Found (A/F) as a project piece.
Height: 37.5cm
Base Diameter: 18.5cm
Weight: Very heavy due to the solid marble base (will be securely packaged).
Condition: The metal figure and marble base are in great structural vintage condition with some lovely authentic patina and light wear to the gilt finish.
Important Note: The lamp holder/socket is missing at the top, leaving the internal 3-core wiring exposed (see photos). It will need a complete rewire and a new brass lamp holder fitted before use. The modern UK plug is still attached at the bottom.
