Up for auction is a hard-to-find 1st Edition (1962) copy of Winged Diplomat: The Life Story of Air Commodore "Freddie" West, V.C., published by Chatto & Windus.
This collectible volume is inscribed and signed on the title page by author P. R. Reid (the famous author of The Colditz Story).
Condition Details: The book itself remains tight, clean, and nicely bound with light, expected age-toning and mild foxing on the page block edges. The original dust jacket is present; it shows wear, minor creasing, and tear/paper loss near the top of the spine and top rear edge (please refer to photos for exact condition).
