Up for auction is an original 1976 UK pressing of Color Visions, the debut album by Antiguan jazz guitarist Roland Prince, released on Vanguard / Pye Records (Catalog #: VSD 79371). Featuring an incredible lineup including Kenny Barron, Randy Brecker, Al Foster, Frank Foster, and Bob Cranshaw, this album is a must-have piece of 1970s jazz fusion and Caribbean-influenced contemporary jazz history.
Condition Details:
Sleeve / Jacket (VG+): Excellent visual condition. Housed in a clear protective sleeve, the outer cover retains bright colors and clear artwork with light handling wear along the edges. The back cover text and liner notes remain crisp and fully legible.
Vinyl Disc (F/G): The vinyl displays surface wear, with a prominent scratch across Side 1 (visual in listing photos) that will cause audible clicks or surface noise during playback. Side 2 shows light surface scuffs and minor hairlines. Offered as a starter or place-holder copy for collectors wanting an iconic Vanguard pressing.
