Up for auction is a original 1980 US pressing of George Cables' critically acclaimed album Cables' Vision, released on the prestigious Contemporary Records label (Cat: 14001).
Recorded at Ocean Way Sound Recorders in Hollywood, this album is a stellar example of late '70s / early '80s post-bop and contemporary jazz fusion. It features a stellar, all-star lineup including Freddie Hubbard (trumpet/flugelhorn), Bobby Hutcherson (vibraphone), Ernie Watts (saxophones/flute), Peter Erskine (drums), Tony Dumas (bass), and Vince Charles (percussion).
