Antique Victorian Silver Plate & Glass Inkwell – Hamilton Clan Crest

Beautifully preserved Victorian/Edwardian era heavy glass inkwell, featuring a stunning hand-painted enamel crest on the lid.

This is a classic "capstan" or block style inkwell, perfect for a vintage desk setup or as a unique decorative paperweight.

The Crest: Features the coat of arms for the Hamilton Clan (three silver cinquefoils on a red shield). The enamel is in excellent condition with vibrant colors.

Material: Heavy, thick-cut glass with a silver-plated hinged lid.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The hinge is sturdy and works perfectly. The glass is clear with no major cracks (only minor age-related wear to the base as expected).

Dimensions: 50mm x 50mm square base; 45mm height.
